Go to froogle.com.
Enter 'jet 1220 lathe.' Don't get lazy and leave off 'lathe' unless you enjoy wading through pages of inkjet extranea.
Near the 'Sort by' window (first presentation will be by Relevance), change to sort criterion to Base Price.

I just purchased one a few days ago at Packard Woodworks for $545 plus $40 shipping. Best price I could find anywhere ;)
Need to call though as it is not listed on their web site.

I was considering a Jet lathe too but from what I've found, looking for their 1014 and 1220 models, it appears they fix the prices so you probably won't find a deal other than on the shipping costs. Amazon has them for the same price as everyone else but with FREE supersaver shipping!
Good luck!
