hiarline in illustrator??

can somebody tell me how to make a hairline in illustrator as in corel. I need hairline or the equivalent of is for Vector engraving.

Type in .001 in the stroke weight, don't put pt at the end either.

It seems to work for me as long as it is 1pt or less.
