Did I read the plate correctly showing that it weighs over 1000 LBS?

I reckon you'll have to move one of the semi trucks out of the garage now to make room for the "router table"!

should be refered to as a router DECK as in aircraft carrier deck. The cooling fans will probably blow off the roof anyhow.

Just think about what will happen to your hands and arms when the cutter bites into that piece of wood solidly... LOL

With those 6' cutters at 1725 rpm you will have a cutting edge speed of 382MPH, so I would recommend earmuffs. For everyone in the surrounding 5 miles...

I wonder what you would need for a feed speed?

I don't think you can feed panels to it fast enough.:D

Look like hollow shaft pump motors to me.
I've rebuilt more of those things than I care to remember! Up to 350 HP. :p

"Look like hollow shaft pump motors to me."

Nope. They are router motors. The guy assured me they were. Said they fell off a truck. Shows how much you know...

I bet turning one of those on involves calling someone at the power station to bring another generator on line :)

My father was in management at a paper mill. He took me in there one time when they had one of their 3000 hp motors apart for maintainence and I got to stand inside the stator housing. I have one of the rollers from a bearing race at that plant and its the size of a soda can and it weighs about 10 pounds. The race held 26 of them and it had failed. There were gouges in that race that ran a half inch deep.

Mmmmm, lemme see. I get it now. Clever. You spin the shop instead of the bit. Al
