The smallest 2 digit no. is 10.
10-1-0=9
11-1-1=9
12-1-2=9
13-1-3=9
14-1-4=9
Etcetera
All of the possible results have the same gift choice assigned to them.

That's freaky
I picked 44, and the resaulting number was 36 which is a wrist watch, not the same as 9.

David, I understand what you are saying but 22 - 2 - 2 =18 and 45 - 4 -5 = 36. It doesn't always come out to 9

They are multiples of 9!! :)

The list changes each time you start and every 9, the item is the same.

Chris Padilla's reply is right. I didn't notice that the items change each time and all multiples of 9 have the same gift item given.

But it is always a multiple of 9 - all of which have the same gift assigned. But that gift changes everytime you "play".

There was a card game like this in which it appeared that the web site could pick the card you were thinking about. They showed you 4 cards but as long as you focused on which one was yours, you didn't realize that the other 3 changed as well and it appeared to read your memory. They only used face cards such that changes didn't seem so obvious....

Weeeelllllll...I am just diligent about figuring out such tricks. They are clever for sure and I always enjoy mind games (don't ask my wife about that one! ;) ) :D
