Here's a little frame I made after Christmas. The pinned joints at the corners were inspired by some Greene & Greene joinery I saw on the FWW site.

Rosewood, but really dark. I have a couple of old guitar fingerboards I save for pegs and such. They were seconds from the Gibson Guitar factory in Kalamazoo. I've had them 25 years and they are hard as stone!

I think it would have been nicer with the boards just a little more narrow. the Tile is beautiful.
