I have to cut some tags for a hospital staffing board.

They all have to have a magnetic backing so can I adhere magnet material to my LaserMax then vector cut both at once?

NO you dont want to try and cut that stuff it 1) STINKS and 2) Burns more then it cuts 3) You'll get a wonderful little light show as the laser trys to cut through the ferrous material mixed in the rubber.

You need magnetic nametag pins.....Somebody here has a link as I dont do them.

I agree, it's nasty to cut and different settings than the lasermax. You can easily cut magnetic sheet as used for car signs with a utility knife or scissors
and use banner tape or 3M laminating tape to stick to the lasermax. Craft stores sell adhesive backed magnetic circles but they are thicker and
would make the tags stand out from the board.

I make magnetic tags but in the reverse of the way you need them. I cut my laminated plastic then apply thin steel to the back. These are then put on a magnetic board.

I received a sample of "LASERmag" from Rowmark. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't comment as to its properties and qualities. Perhaps the LASERmag would fill the bill.
