I had a client/friend ask for a small toy box and said "use your imagination". I had a little curly maple and curly cherry sitting in the shop with no project assigned to it, so this is what came out. It turned out to be a fun project that I will probably duplicate in the future.

Now that is some beautiful work! Very nice maple, and the combination works well. what are the approximate dimensions?

John, the dimensions are 24"W x 17"D x 18"H.

That is really beautiful, Rick. How did you joing the front/back assemblies to the sides?

Brian, the front and back were attached to the sides with dowels, using a dowelmax.

I really like the curly cherry. We don't see a lot of it up here.

Rick, I think the definition of a true artist is someone who takes beautiful material and does beautiful work to make something that someone may run a Tonka toy into. LOL Very nice piece.
