I'm trying to fill a letter with text and can't quite figure out how to do it.

For example, I took the letter "A" and I want to fill it with a repeating pattern of the word "Amanda" so that I can vector cut the "A" and raster the word "Amanda" all over that "A".

I've looked in my bible book, searched this forum and other Corel forums, but can't seem to find out if it's possible. I know how to fill a letter (or any object) with a bitmap picture....do I need to make a bitmap with the word "Amanda" written over and over again? Or does anyone know an easier way?

Thanks!

Steve

Create the text you want to use. Create a large A, remove the fill and make a red hairline outline. Select the text and use powerclip.

Steve - Try converting the letter to curves. Then you should be able to use it just like any other shape.

Thanks Guys....I'm not sure what I was thinking with regard to the bitmap......I ended up just typing the text and then duplicating it NUMEROUS times until I had a pattern.....then I power clipped it in the letter......took about 30 seconds and looks perfect!

Thanks!!!
