I am looking for any North American Indian art, both photos and clip art.
Thanks to all who contribute!

Ross I have sent you some after you requested, but they aren't brilliant, just vintage American photos. I kept them because they show a lot of character. I'm sure someone else will post something good for you.

I have two books of such clipart, but don't have time to do a lot of scanning.
If this will be an on-going project look into the books by Dover Publications, available at better book stores and art supplies. You really need written permission to use the images commercially but when I wrote I got the permission pretty quickly, to produce up to 10 items with each image.

This site is a great resource for photographs, etc. in the US Library of Congress. It has a very powerful and user friendly interface to access their data.
As a museum curator, I have used this site for a number of projects: http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/browse/

Even if you aren't looking for a photo, it is a great place to visit!

Ross; Google Image is a great resort.. Use the advanced search, selecting Large or Extra large, any file type, black and white. then work your way down to medium size.. (Small is usually useless) You can also select clipart, or line art from the main search

Most all of them are copyrighted though.
