Welcome Tracy. That is a nice bowl. I really like the padauk - I've turned a few things from it, and will definitely turn more.

The bowl is Paduak, and the small base is cherry, I burned the rings on the base and finished the whole thing by buffing. There is no Finish looking back, since Paduak is fairly pouress, maybe i should have used a wipe on poly.
It is maybe 4" wide and 6" tall.

Looks good! If you can only woodturn on weekends, maybe you should work less hours. Who needs money?
