Has anyone tried using the mason bits that say they are only to be used for SDS/rotary drills, in regular chuck type hammer drills? I'm just wondering because I need a 3/8" and 5/8" 18" long mason bits for this new job I just got. They shouldn't have to be used much at all, but I am required to have them just in case.
Thanks,
Eric

Well, it wouldn't be solid concrete. but like to drill through a block wall, which I know typically is only 8" but for whatever reason they want use to have an 18" bit, I guess if there is an overhang or something that you need extra length, who knows...But people who run corporations think they have it all figured out
