Hi:
I'm sending a large file to a specialty engraver and I have Corel X3. He has 12 and apparently can't open my file. He doesn't have Adobe AI either.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to save my X3 file to Version 12 if this is possible?
Thanks very much!

Goto file, save as, on the right side there is a little box that defaults to version 13, click on the down arrow and it will give options for legacy versions

Thank you SO much George! I didn't realize how simple this was and I truly appreciate it!

One other thing you can do as you're saving the file back to an earlier version is to embed the fonts. That way whomever you're sending the file to can open with the correct fonts whether they are on his pc or not.
You can also convert the file to curves. (curves can't be text edited just in case you weren't aware of that)
