Any creekers who can recommend sources of wood in Kitsap or Jefferson county in Washington State? I'm sure there are options if I trek to Seattle or Tacoma, but looking for something closer to home.

Thanks.

Kingston Lumber is a big supplier of construction lumber and a good hardware store, I bet they have or could get more exotic stuff for you. I don't know any cabinet makers over there but it may be helpful to contact one and see where they get their stock. An SMC member, Bob Smalser, who is incredibly knowledgable in woodworking and boatbuilding, lives on that side--Seabeck IIRC-- and may be a good source for info. Crosscut Harwoods on 1st South, south of Safeco Field, just before the West Seattle bridge has all you would need and may be worth the trip.

Try these guys in Port Townsend http://www.edensaw.com
I know several custom furniture makers that buy wood from them almost exclusively.
