Just picked up this Jet OSS off CL. $250 including an additional 3" spindle and about a dozen sleeves. It's a bit dusty but in excellent condition - no rust or pitting on the table and the motor sounds fine.

Notice the PM 14" BS w/riser in the background - another CL acquisition - $600 in excellent shape. (stealth gloat)

I never seem to find good stuff that I could actually use on CL!

Enjoy it! :D

Nice sander and even nicer price. If you had to guess, what would you say that puppy weighs??

I have to admit that I check both the Vermont and New Hampshire CL at least a few times a week, whether I have any money or not. Once in a while I get lucky.

Its a great sander, Brian. I got one off of Craigslist last year for $175...

Jim, I think it weighs close to 95 lbs...

Jim,

I think I saw somewhere that the shipping weight was around 85 lbs. It sure is solid - no rattles or vibrations on this baby.

I bought the same sander from a friend with the 3" disks for $250. I'm very pleased with it. Well made and does a great job. He upgraded to a Grizzly floor model.
I didn't do as well on my Powermatic 14"...looked like what seemed forever for a nice used, ended up buying new. It's a great bandsaw, but sure wish i could have found a nice used one.
Only new major tool I have purchased other than the recent Jet Mortiser for $335. But, I thought that was a steal. Replaced my PM701.
Looking for a PM2000 used now. That seems to be a rare bird to find used also. With a 16-20" bandsaw setup for resawing, my little shop will be complete!
Enjoy your new tools, great buys!

All you folks who say you never find anything on CL should download SNARFER (http://www.snarfware.com/snarfer.htm) and give it a try. Yes... it is free!:)

Nice deal!

I've been keeping my eye out for that kind of deal on one of those myself.
