Hope someone has been successful!

I would like to make some pens and also some pieces of entersia

out of the hedge apple tree.

Have found some cut up, with a YELLOW color to the boards, this would

be great for entersia's natural color wood designs,BUT i have heard the

color will fad out of the wood rather quickly, even in a matter of months!!

Does anyone know a treatment to HOLD its color??

Thanks,George

Nope....exposure to UV light will make it turn over time to a nice dark golden brown, but more dark gold with a nice touch of brown. If you can keep the wood in darkness, I suppose it would stay yellow.
The only yellow wood that I know of that keeps the yellow for a long time is Yellowheart.
