Wow, this is pretty cheap for what it is. Anybody have experience with it? I know its kind of small in capacity, but it seems like a great deal even if it needs slight modifications to make it robust.

My first concern would be how sturdy the base frame is. It doesn't look strong enough to keep from twisting.

I wonder if it's made by wood-mizer as the manual recommends wood-mizer blades.

I saw that in the latest sale rag they sent around. I'd be interested in seeing it in person first. At roughly half the cost of the WM LT10, they are obviously cutting some corners. Just comparing pictures the framing looks a lot lighter. I'd also guess on a lesser quality gas engine on the thing.

On of the things I found reading the manual is that the drive belt for the engine doubles as the tire for the driven wheel. Does the Wood Mizer do this too? It seems like this isn't such a good idea since belts can vary a bit in construction and the profile of the back isn't really well controlled.
