Good Price for Walker-Turner Band Saw?

I found a Walker-Turner 16" band saw within driving distance. It's from an active shop which is being closed, and the guy wants $500. Worth it?

Not sure of the values, but it certainly is a gorgeous machine. Nothing like that new for anywhere near $500.

It all depends on what shape it is in. I paid $700 for one in fantastic shape a few years ago and now my father is using it.
