I'm in need of this font I have looked all over and can find close but not exact. I believe it was created with a rotary engraver. this is a scaned picture with the background mostly removed. Thank you in advanced for any efforts made on your part, I have seen other miracles that have happen here I'm hopeing for one more

It's close to a font by Harold's fonts. Looks like yours is squished a little. You could certainly make your font taller or narrower to make it fit that form.

Unfortunately, most of the questions are on letters not shown in your example. But you may be able to extrapolate what the answers would be.

Do you know what rotary engraving system this was done on? if so those fonts were created for those engravers and maybe someone here has that engraver and font and can create the verbiage you need.

It is Double Line Century. A very common engraving font. You could get close with an outline truetype font. Try Caslon open.
