Just wanted to post a new toy - a Wolverine sharpening jig the FedEx guy dropped off from Lee Valley. Now I've just got to get it set up and practice using it.
Oh, and I bought the skew attachment from a fellow creeker the other day, so that should be coming soon.
Happy times! :D

Thanks Jim. I hope to use this every time I use the lathe. It will be really nice to have sharp tools every time I turn it on.

Gratz on the new oneway wolverine jig.
Is there anyone else out there that doesn't use any type of system. I bought the wolverine system but wasn't a huge fan of it. I turned for two years in high school without any system and just got used to it. I seem to be able to get the shape I want on just about all my tools. I will admit I am still completely lost on how to sharpen a swept back gouge. Does the wolverine sharpen that one or do you need another jig?
