Walnut bowl

This is a walnut bowl. I like the feel of heavy, solid bowls and that's what this one is. 11" x 4.5", 3/4" sides, finished with walnut oil.

Very nice bowl Curt! Beautiful wood! Really like the inward slant to the rim and also note that the inner edge of the rim is slightly rounded. Love how that subtle variation gives the bowl a very soft look! Seriously, very nice work!

Very nice indeed ! I love the taper inward on the edges, I'm not a big fan of thick bowls but I think this one is pulled off nicely.

I don't even have a shop, Pete! But the garage can be pretty cold this time of year. I just put on the insulated coveralls and Sorels and have at it. This turning addiction will drive a man to do some crazy things.
