Very nice, particularly for a first attempt. Mind if I ask where you got the humidor gizmos? I don't do cigars, but I've got a huge plank of spanish cedar that's just dying to go into a few hundred humidors...

Looks like a good job to me. Does maple work well holding moisture? I only heard to use Spanish Cedar.

Sorry. There is a spanish cedar lining. So far humidity has been holding at 67% or so. This was a gift to my father and he has it stocked now. Humidor components came from Cuban Crafters. Thanks for the kind replies.

That's not an attempt. That's a success. If you want to see an attempt, wait until I try to make a humidor.

That wood is too nice not to varnish.
