Has anyone bought the Grizzly 10" G0675 jointer planer yet? Price seems good. I am a bit worried about two 20" beds.

I don't know anyone who has it, but I wouldn't get too worried about the length of the beds - if you look at older 6 inch jointers you will find that 48 inches was fairly common and a lot of good work was done on those jointers. I have read that you can straighten a board that is about twice the overall length of the jointer - so unless you regularly need to joint pieces in excess of 6 1/2 feet it shouldn't be a problem. I would like to see how it works in person before I bought one, I am just saying don't get too caught up in the manufacturing hype about longer tables.

Haven't bought one, but the 12" model is on my wish list.

I agree that we don't necessarily need aircraft carrier length beds, but this one is only 40". It sure would fit in my shop a lot easier though. I am still favoring the 12" jet jointer/planer at this point.
