I have a Turncrafter Pro also, it's a nice small lathe. Not nearly enough shavings laying around though :-) I haven't tried captive rings yet, guess I should put it on my "to do" list.

Ahh I remember making those things. I have a cabinet full of funky little spindle turnings myself. Cant seem to throw them away as they remind me of my progress. Good looking setup up and keep us (and more pics) posted on your progress!!
