Mike I got this one at Craft Supply. It is a bit pricey compared to the others but will last for a long time. Used mine for 3 yrs now and still looks as good as the day I bought it.

Mike - no idea what the actual grit is for this dresser but I have been using mine for about 4 years and it still works fine. Oh, currently I am using 120 and 150 grits wheels if that matters.

I was about to order the same 1 Steve. Then I was reading a question someone asked on the Bay to a seller asking what grit the dresser was. Well It never occurred to me that they came in different grits. Makes sense I guess.

Just thought I'd throw it out there before I buy. I don't want to be Dressing my stones with gravel.:D

Thanks Bernie. Very nice but I'm heading down the vortex and it's very steep.

Mike, I just got a couple 1/4 carat industrial diamond dressers from ENCO. They sell tons of stuff for metal turning. They were real inexpensive but have one stone in them and I made a jig to hold the rod and diamond so I could keep it square to the grinding wheel. It works great! You have to keep even light pressure and move it back and forth across the wheel on the same plane. So it may be harder than some of the others that have many small diamonds attached to a flat surface.

Thanks everyone. I bought this grinder http://www.toolking.com/steelcity_15420.aspx last night and it comes with the diamond wheel dresser. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Nice grinder with good features and only $10.00 to ship.
