Salt and pepper mill

I have been asked to make a pair of walnut salt and pepper mills. Looking for a way to be able to tell them apart.Hoping someone has a suggestion.

The ones I have made, the salt had a smaller mechanism so it was shorter.

I just made several salt and pepper shakers from Rockler kits. With the exception of the number of holes in the shaker top, there is no way to tell them apart. (guess I am getting better with consistency). If you have persons who have problems with salt intake, you may want to burn a ring on the salt mill.

The ones I bought from Craft Supply had a S and P stamped on the nuts on the top. Crush Grind I burn 2 lines for salt and 3 for pepper.

I have always made the salt mills a littler shorter than the matching pepper mills.
