Water wheel progress

Today I started by doing some layout and started glue up. As usual, I could use more clamps. Will post more pics as things progress.

Is this going to be used as a real water wheel enabling real work or is it just going to be decretive?

The wheel is decorative but will have a small water pump to make it rotate.(I hope)

Got the water wheel glued up sunday and it is actually round. Appears to be fairly well balanced and turns true. Will post more pics as things progress.

Looks great, Dave! I still think it is fantastic reclaiming the old cedar logs for this project...just wonderful and I love all the character in the wood. :)
