You just have to laugh at some of the user names people attempt to use here. After they finish the intial registration procedure their account has to be approved by an Admin before they are activated and receive an email from our server. I think I have deleted dozens of Fred Flintstones, Micky Mouse's, Woodbutchers, etc and thousands of people trying to register with initials which we don't allow. We also don't approve registrations with vulgar email addresses, they probably wouldn't fit in here anyhow :)

I just deleted Stupid Registration and a few others :)

Stupid question


Hello all,
This is my introduction and I have a stupid question.

I have been watching a guy on U-tube demo a way to cut a pine board on a table saw without the fence. I don't have a fence I and have tried this several times with no luck. The first time it threw the 2x4 back at me and the second time the wood started to burn and got Real hard to push so I shut the saw off. The third time was the worst though. I lowered the 2x4 over the blade from the other side of the table saw (ah ha I thought) this way it can't throw the board back at me (Me smart!!!:D). Now I have both my hands covered in splinters... I just racked my brain on this and get seem to figure it out. Please help.

Oh and the registration part to get onto this forum is confusing.

Well...I had the same problem. Couldn't figure out why my registration kept getting rejected until I looked at a list of user names. :o
