Hello

I have recieved good engraving results on polycarbonate. The only
problem is that the engraving on the white surface is too light.
Can anybody give me some advice how to get darker engraving results?
(colorfill afterwards is not an option).

Hello Matti,

I held off responding hoping someone would post a creative idea with involves a C02 laser. The best lasers to get a contrast with Polycarbonates are Vanadate or Fiber lasers. If you ever have some clear polycarbonate and you want a dark black mark a gantry based Vanadate laser will do a terrific job on this type of product.

If you want to email me goggle wanlaser and send me an email and I will email some pictures of polycarbonate engraved with these two solid state lasers.

Matti, I wish I could help but I do not have any experience with Polycarbonates. I guess I need to, I had thought I had tried almost everything.
