...that will be belated christmas gifts. All crush grind mechanisms. Left to right--Maple burl with blood wood accent, Waterlox finish;spalted apple, Watco'd and buffed and walnut, also Watco'd and buffed. Still working on proportions and designs. Fortunately, the recipients will be happy to overlook the imperfections-- as long as it grinds pepper. :) :)

Ted - very interesting design variations! Love all the woods! Really like the walnut the best and that is more due to form - very sleek and classy looking! I am sure each of these will be appreciated! Very nice work!

Those are all great looking mills but I really like the shape of the one on the far right.

Ted, I have not made one yet but it sure is looking like I will have to pretty soon! Yours are great! I like them all but I think it is a toss up for the spalted 1st one or the sleek black walnut one!

Nice looking mills, and a good use of different woods. I like the first one, its different than most you see.

They all look great, but I like #1 the best. Maybe because it's less traditional, more contemporary. The choice of wood helps too.
