1969... the year of the love-in... or so I've been told. I was 12 and kinda missed it - but it was fun to watch.

March 1969.... I was a junior in high school and have to think it was either just before a deployment to Viet Nam or just after some of the troops came home. Other than that I don't remember a big power black out or anything but then I went to high school in Germany and missed a lot of what was going on in the states.

I just noticed the unusually high number of birthdays today, Bruce. I'm with you . . . you gotta' wonder what was going on! It might be interesting to find out if all the 39 year olds are from the same area.

Happy Birthday to all of you December 31 folks!

Well,
I was -2 but...

Woodstock was Aug 15th 1969. The date is a bit off but at least some of these folks have hippie Parents I am sure.

Rock on!

1/1/1970 was 39 years ago which is the Unix epoch date. Basically like the 1/1/1980 date PCs used to default to. I'd imagine most of those people didn't specify their birthday and the software defaults their birthday to that day.

Of course it could be something else, but I wouldn't know as I wasn't around until almost 3 years later. :D

You young wipper-snappers are no fun at all.
I like to think that there's something more fun tied to it. :D
