I am installing flat panel wainscoting in a foyer to match the stairway that was just completed. There is an 8' run of baseboard that I plan to run a rail parellel to and my question is should I be concerned with running a 3.5" piece of 3/4" MDF directly on top of the metal baseboard.
Will the MDF warp or disintegrate over time due to the constant heating and cooling during a new england winter. Thanks for the help!
