I'm currently sitting on a few dozen board feet of 5/4 Jatoba that's begging to be used for some projects, but I'm unwilling to plane it down to thickness and waste a bunch of it. Unfortunately, my scheme to acquire an 18" bandsaw for doing the resawing was derailed by a layoff, so I'm wondering if there are any other Creekers in Southern Nevada who'd be willing to let me and my jatoba have some happy time with a bandsaw?
