I had a whole day, 12/24/08, to my self and needed to make a "Center Square" for my pen turning hobby. This is what I came up with. You are welcome to use it and improve on if you want. But if you do, re-post it here to share with everyone.

It's a nice little tool, especially for penturners, to find the center of blank to turn on a lathe.

When I drew these out I allowed for use of a shop/carpenters pencil. So the bottom of the staight edge won't match the center line of the bottom piece. The top piece should be flush with the right hand side of the bottom piece.Hope this doesn't confuse you guys:confused:. But by all means change it to meet your needs:).

I took me several hours to get these simple shapes:mad:. I know that some of you guys can whip this out in a matter of minutes. :D
