Finally cool enough to turn in my garage. Love Arizona. I turned this colorful flame box elder semi vessel. Its 2 3/4 inches high by 9 1/4 inches across. Finish is 3 coats of wipe-on poly.

Happy Holidays.

Andrew,

That's a very nice hollow form. I love the color in that Box Elder.

Andrew, When I first opened your post and saw the picture it reminded me of a roughed out piece that I was looking at just the other day! The shape and the cruly flame in yours is a winner! I hope the one that I have on the shelf comes out half as nice!

I agree with Steve STUNNING!!

That's spectacular. Will the red-flame stay red? I think I heard that in some cases it will fade. I hope not, that piece is great.

Finally cool enough to turn in my garage. Love Arizona.
It's ironic, you have the warmth, but we have the trees.

Not to knock your design but the wood itself really makes this piece. Outstanding!
