Bill, have you gotten the hand scanner yet? I've looked at them several time but haven't pulled the trigger. If so how do you like it?

That's kind of where I'm at. I sort of want one but at the same time I'm not sure if I would use it enough to justify it.
If you decide to change your mind and get one, Shining 3d just released the Einstar a while back. I can't speak for the unit itself, but Einscan/Shining 3D makes really good 3d scanners (I have one of their other models). The Einstar just under 1000 and should get you into the arena of 3D scanning.
