I really grin when I hear about N2 in tires . My BIL is also a mechanical engineer, as is his wife, and no one can really justify N2 in auto tires. Perhaps in aircraft if dry, to prevent water from accumulating (or oxidation of the interior?). Would really like to know if a valid technical justification exists for autos...other than profit.
