You might not like to repair old chairs but you do one great job!!
It's good you have standards to emulate.

I just fixed two old chairs and it was a bit frustrating to find the workmanship was pitiful.
I had to turn some struts that were missing, joints reglued, reinforcement screws, and surface resurfacing.
I think I'd have rather made the chair from scratch but the repairs I made should last several years.

Again, great job as that repaired chair looks great!
