Work Still in Progress - Large Curly Maple Sofa Table

Here's a follow up to my earlier post. I've got some finish on the top, but have decided for a number of reasons to build a different base. Couldn't be happier with the way the grain turned out on the top.

John, the top really is something special. Hope you are able to salvage the stock from the legs and cross brace. What is the new base going to be?
