    Pore Filler

    I am starting to do more work in oak since it is avaiable, and I think I sould be using a filler for the grain also I need to fill end grain on stuff I am going to paint. Can someone recomend where I can order the stuff over the web and a good brand or will the loacal borg have this stuff?

    Pore filler

    I have used both oil and water based fillers, folks like Homestead Finishing have both and you can get it with tint, or tint it yourself. As for the painted pieces, go to the BORG and get some spackling, it will fill the pores and hold the paint nicely.
