Like title says looking for a decent combo blade. Have been looking at Freud, what do you recommend around $50-$60. Thanks

If you post your saws HP you will get a better detailed choice list.
As is, LU83 (thin kerf) or LU84 (normal thickness), and LU86 are all considered good in the Freud line.
Charles McCracken is a Freud employee who posts here and would be good to ask in their line.
Consider 40-tooth general purpose blades too. I just went through trying several of them out to find a respectable backup to my Forrest Woodworker II. Of all the ones I tried, the Amana Prestige PR1040 was the best next to the WWII which is twice the price. If you use the code SMC10 at Holbren, you get 10% off your total making it about $52 delivered. I used it last night to rip a bunch of face frame material and it did a great job.
Full kerf or TK?
- Infinity Combomax or Combomax Lite
- Tenryu RS25550 (full kerf) from Holbren (~ $41 shipped w/"SMC10" code)
Freud's Industrial combo blades are the LU83 (TK) and LU84.

Happiness is like wetting your pants...everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth....

TS is a Delta Hybrid 1-3/4 hp. I really would rather buy a blade locally(rockler,hd,lowes, westerntool) than order one. Any options from these places? Thanks
Are the Freud 1040x and 1050x any good?
I've used the Infinity blade and they are very good. Nice people to deal with, also. The Tenryu blade was recently at the top of the list with Forrest WWII and Freud's blade as best of the group in a table saw blade shootout.

Just to clarify, a combination blade is a 40T or 50T ATB+R tooth geometry. A 40T ATB or Hi-ATB is really called a general purpose blade and the two are often interchanged.
The ones Scott is showing you are true combination blades. The WWII and Amana Matt mentions are general purpose blades.
Just wanted to clarify.
Lowes is currently clearancing the Delta 35-7657, 40 tooth GP blade for $32.97. I have several, along with two Forrest WWII's, some Freud LU84R's. I find that the 7657 does all I want. A couple weeks back, I used one to rip some 12/4 laminated white oak. They come with a thirty day trial deal. Don't like it, take it back.
