    Wedding Table completed

Several months ago I was asking questions about attaching legs to a pedestal table and got great feedback from Jamie Buxton (and others) about using sliding dovetails. I took their advice and have ended up with some solid construction as a result. My daughter is getting married on 7/15 and I have been working on this table non stop lately. A brief description of the table:
Curly English Sycamore veneer center panel, ebony octagon inlay in center, ebony inlay on border and ebony splines at octagon corners and ebony caps on top of legs where they meet the pedestal. The ebony caps were a fix (that turned out as a touch that I liked) for some tearout when I was routing the dovetails(male part) on the legs. The underside veneer on the table top is curly Aniegre.
The remainder of the table (top frame, spindle, legs) are from Honduran Mahogany. The mahogany has some gorgeous figure. My pictures are not so great (any tips are welcome). The figure of the mahogany reflect the light so much it gives an orange hue to the mahogany that is not the actual look of the table. Some of the pictures are a little dark, but that was the only way that I could get the true color of the wood.
Anyway, I am a proud Dad that is giving away his only daughter in 11 days. Fortunately, as I said in a thread that Mark Singer started a week or so ago , I like my soon to be son-in-law very much.
Any comments on the table (critical or otherwise) are welcome. I am enjoying woodworking more and more as I go off in some new direction that I haven't tried before. One thing that helps alot is the wonderful advice that is available here at Sawmill Creek. I can always get good answers and ideas from the members here.
