    Small but great gloat.

This morning LOML and I were out on the front lawn before we headed into town for work. Due to the drought we have lost a few small saplings and as we were looking she pointed to two small magnolias and said "well I guess they'll make nice pens." I followed up by saying that the dead cypress tree will make dandy holders for her glass ball collection.
It sure is great when SWMBO supports your hobby.

Definitely a gloat. Sorry you lost the trees to the drought. It will be nice to have something made from them.

Sounds like the LOYL understands that one loss can be turned into a positive outcome.
