    Time & Tung Oil

    Here is a piece that was made in 2018 and has aged beautifully.

    "IMMEMORIAL TREE OF LIFE"

    This piece is a 15 1/2" D Curly Cherry Platter. Was hand drawn, and lightly hand carved and then the image burned. I'm glad I finish with Tung Oil and dry for several months then did the carving work. then I used Deft sanding sealer then sanded back to 800 grit and hand buffed w/ a cloth. You can see that the lighter section stands out more that was carved after letting the Tung Oil dry, just before this photo was taken after I gave it a wipe of Daddy Vans bees wax and it really POPS!
