The recent post about Claire Minihan travishers reminded me that I've been sitting on an unused one. I bought it for saddling a chair, but I never gotten around to that project.
The travisher has a standard sweep and walnut body. Claire's travishers are currently listed for $500 with a 24-26 month wait time. I'll sell this one for $500 shipped and you can skip the wait. Paypal preferred.

I received a question about how the blade is set up on the travisher, so I'm posting some pictures to make that more clear. The blade is set up as I received it new. The blade has not been resharpened.
There is a shiny line on the bottom of the blade. I believe this is from flattening the bottom of the blade. The bottom of the blade (that contacts the work piece) is smooth and flat front to back. The opposite side of the blade (facing up as you use the tool) has a ground bevel and has been sharpened.
