    I'll say the same thing I told the wife, who only uses the lathe. Turning technically creates shredded and chipped wood, not sawdust.

    Please do not try to interject any reality that would shatter my belief in my own BS.

    It's the sawdust from sanding at the lathe that always glitters my glasses and respirator and the front of my shirt. Well, what sawdust the the dust collector doesn't pick up, anyway.
