One of the members of my woodworkers guild presented an idea for a table saw micro-adjuster using a large double screw clamp and a 3/8" x 16 thread eye bolt. He drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole in the clamp and attached it to the table top next to the fence. One full turn of the eye bolt moves the fence 1/16", a half turn moves it 1/32", and a quarter turn moves it 1/64".

I took the concept a step further and drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole in my Carter Mag-fence for my bandsaw and threaded a 3/8" x 1 1/2" star knob bolt in the hole. I also enlarged the hole on the plastic face so the threads don't engage the plastic and cause it to bulge. It works like a charm and I can easily use it on either side of the fence. I can also use a feeler gauge between the two fences to see how far I moved it.
