    Unhappy I'm back

In August, Hurricane Harvey came through the gulf coast.
I was awakened in bed wet. The floodwaters woke me up, wet in bed.

Our house has been renovated from the studs out.
My shop is dry and my tools intact.

We slept in our house last night.
My oldest son is the contractor. He learned from me, since I was a contractor as he was growing up.
He has all of the sub-contractors to complete the job.

I am looking forward to the resumption of old routines, including reading this news group.

Most welcome news. Many have been worried about you. I figured you were wrestling bears.

Also, my Lie Nielsen back saws are rust free as are all of my tools.

    Lowell

Glad to hear that life is beginning to return to normal for you and your family. That was a pretty devastating "one-two" punch you guys took.

Fred, I'm flattered that you remember.

A positive thing is that I was able to see and be with my children and some of my grandchildren.
Don't get e to bragging about my grandchildren.

A Very Happy Post indeed. Welcome back Lowell. It all felt so terrible while it was happening.
Your new post helps with that.
