    Where to padauk

All, it seems to me that Rockler has about the best price on padauk (10.99/bf). Does anyone know of a different supplier that sells in small quantities for less?

    How small?
WoodCraft sells "project wood". Usually it is 3/8" thick, 3"- 4" inches wide, and 24" long.
If it's a small piece, let me know, and I'll see what I have laying around.

I'm in Minneapolis. I use the wood for cutting boards. So I need boards at least 4/4 (rockler is 13/16 I think). 5 or so inches wide and at least 24 inches long. I usually buy a 5" x 48" boards at rockler. I need a half dozen boards that size.

    You might try woodfinder.com
It found Rockler plus a bunch of other suppliers.

I love the place, but no place more expensive than Rockler on lumber.

They're 10.99 a bf on padauk. I cannot find any retailer (on line or B&M) that gets under that.

http://www.badgerwood.com/ lists $9.90 per bf for 4/4 S2S. I would call to get the most current price. Not generally the place with the lowest price, but the owner has always been good to work with and carries good quality product.
