    CNC Vac Pod Table

    I finally finished my vacuum pods and fixture to make five piece door parts. After learning a lot about gasketing and making sure to check that nothing gets lodged in the tubing the pods are working very well. I am not suggesting this is a fast method, but in my small shop space it works well for me because I do not have space for multiple machines.

    Here are the pods setup to final size and bore the hinges for a door.

    A few minutes later the door is sized and ready to hang.

    I had made an aluminum jig to make door parts, but I found it was too time consuming to setup. Now I can setup my machine to cut door parts in about 10minutes. I have a video of cutting door parts I can post at some point.
