    Done

    Thanks guys for all the well wishes over the last couple of weeks. Basic update: All the pain and numbness of my legs is gone and I can walk normally, there is some feeling of pressure in the lower back that should go away soon and until it does I have enough happy pills to see me through. It is a shame not all medical problems for everyone can be fixed as easily and as well.

    Time to get back in the shop and build something.

    Thanks again,

    ken.

    Good to hear all went well.

    Take it easy if you are supposed to.

    No whiskey with happy pills, Ken.

    Otherwise, congratulations. And don't overdo it.

    Jim,

    I hope to never see another happy pill.

    Whisky will return to its rightful place of toasting the sunset each evening.

    Congratulations! I'm glad to hear that it went so smoothly and successfully. Spinal surgery is thankfully a LOT better than it used to be, when it was basically "fusion or bust".

    Very happy to hear it went well. Do what you are suppose to. Remember this day that you are feeling good. Do what the docs say. Formulate a plan for the heavy lifting. You don't want a repeat. I know, I know, lecture, lecture, lecture.

    James;

    Thanks and I hear the voice of experience. MsBubba was an E.R. nurse, in fact I met her in the back of my Lifeflight Learjet. Thought she was so kind and caring I chased her till she caught me . Because she was an ER nurse she doesn't put up with a lot of BS, I've made up my mind to follow her orders to the letter and with no whining from me. It'll be tough because today, even with no happy pills and whisky, I feel like I'm 40 again.

    I wish surgery would work as well for everyone with back pain but we are not there yet. I'm a very lucky man.

    ken
